MOVE IN
After being admitted to the Master’s or Doctoral program at the university, international students may submit a dormitory accommodation request to the Dormitory Administration.
GUM Apartment Building No.2 , Room 105
Based on the resident’s student ID and required documents, the Dormitory Administration will allow the resident to select a apartment building and room type according to their request. The options include:
- Single Room
- Double Room
- Triple Room
- Quadruple Room
After the room has been assigned, the student shall pay the dormitory accommodation fee and security deposit to the Finance Department.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, bank card, WeChat Pay, or cash.
- Once the dormitory accommodation fee and security deposit have been paid and confirmed, the new resident shall enter into an accommodation agreement with the Dormitory Manager and receive their ID card, access card/ room key.
- The Dormitory Supervisor shall introduce residents to the dormitory facilities, services, and internal regulations.
- The Dormitory Property Officer shall hand over the room furnishings, equipment, and bedding to the new resident and prepare a handover report.
- Registration and move-in shall take place on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
MOVE OUT
Residents are required to notify the Building Administration of their intention to vacate the dormitory at least 2–3 days in advance and arrange a convenient time for the room inspection.
GUM Apartment Building No.2 , Room 105
The resident shall, in accordance with the building’s internal regulations, restore and prepare the room for handover in substantially the same condition as it was at the time of initial occupancy. This shall include:
- The room shall be thoroughly cleaned in its entirety.
- All waste shall be properly disposed of.
- Furniture shall be returned to its original position.
- All furnishings and equipment shall be kept in good condition.
The resident shall have the room inspected and handed over to the buildings Property Officer and service staff on the scheduled handover date.
The building Property Officer shall verify the condition of the room’s furnishings and equipment against the initial handover report. Any missing or irreparably damaged items shall be recorded for reimbursement from the security deposit.
The building Manager shall review and approve the security deposit refund application, specifying whether the deposit is to be refunded in full or subject to deductions.
The resident shall fully complete the security deposit refund application with their name and bank account details, obtain the Building Manager’s approval, and submit it to the Finance Department.
The Finance Department shall review the application and refund the deposit within 1–3 business days.
